The HVAC supervisor will managing the efficient operation of facility systems to support the mission and goals of CNSE, cleanrooms and the site.

Responsibilities for Facilities HVAC Supervisor

This position is responsible for:

• Effectively manage assigned personnel effectively to meet 24/7 facility coverage and maintain facility goal of 99% uptime for HVAC and other related systems and equipment.

• Provide direction to maintain performance specification for cleanroom environments as well as other facility spaces (i.e. office space).

• Implement comprehensive Preventive Maintenance programs for facility equipment in CMMS system.

• Plan, assign and distribute work orders and work requests.

• Assure technicians are entering appropriate data into CMMS and completing work orders in a timely fashion.

• Supervise maintenance and repair activities.

• Maintain records and files; prepare reports, perform material and labor estimates.

• Provide guidance and support of the technicians with the training of existing and new staff members

• Identify management training opportunities to develop your own and your technician's skills.

• Mentoring and verification of technician knowledge training, SOP review and project completion planning.

• Establish, assign and adjust work methods and procedures to meet schedules using knowledge of capacities and capabilities of personnel and equipment.

• Initiate measures to improve methods, equipment performance and quality of work. Assist in the training and instruction of employees in new methods or procedures.

• Provide technical assistance to mechanics and inspect work in process for quality and to insure its completion within allotted time limits.

• Help maintains records and files, including the approval of time sheets and paid-time-off, as required.

• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, engineers, in-house staff and others concerning equipment operations and maintenance. Responsible for identifying required spare parts and stock materials. Work with Inventory staff to ensure materials are available as necessary.

  Job Requirements:

Minimum Requirements for Facilities HVAC Supervisor

• A technical trade degree with a minimum of 4 years of related HVAC/mechanical work experience and 1 years supervisory experience of Mechanical/HVAC staff in a facility operations environment.

• 5 years of Mechanical/HVAC work experience and 1 years supervisory experience of Mechanical/HVAC staff in a facility operations environment.

• Must possess EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification, good personal relation and communications skills, ability to write clearly and concisely, and proficient use of Microsoft Office, computer maintenance management programs, and other applicable computer programs. Required to wear cleanroom protective equipment and various personal protective equipment (PPE) related to work activities.

• Must be able to bend, reach, sit, stoop, climb, stand for long periods of time, walk far distances, work with arms extended over the shoulders, push, pull, and perform repetitive physical tasks.

• Must be able to carry and respond to cell phone/emails outside of regularly scheduled work hours.

• Must complete a satisfactory background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 3+ years' experience Industrial HVAC operations, or 5 years of HVAC management and operational experience with technical training; general understanding of all related disciplines such as device performance, electrical, mechanical, scrubbers, reporting and control systems, PLC programming & operation.

Pay rate: $105,000- $125,000

*Posted rate is dependent on education and experience.
