Lockheed Martin Production Planner Specialist in Greenville, South Carolina

Description:

You will be the Production Planner, for the Lockheed Martin Greenville Production Team. Our team is responsible for configuration management of the F-16 work instructions for the production line.

What You Will Be Doing

The production Planner will be responsible for the job functions/roles listed below:

• Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations relating to specific portion of the product for guidance of production workers.

• Plans detail operations from blueprints, engineering orders, change notices, and other engineering releases.

• Prepares shop work orders for materials and product processing.

• Coordinates with schedulers to ensure that items are being processed according to specifications and time requirements.

• Maintains progress reports, schedules, and other related records.

This position is in Greenville, SC Discover Greenville.

Basic Qualifications:

-Candidate must have a High School diploma, and/or equivalent experience

- Experience reading and interpreting engineering documents and drawings.

- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.

- Experience with planning sequence of work.

- Knowledge of Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) structure.

- Experience with multi-tasking, organizing, and prioritizing assignments in a variety of cross-functional areas.

Desired Skills:

• F-16 experience

• Previous experience written manufacturing work instructions

• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).

• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills

• Aircraft maintenance, production and/or modification/ general manufacturing experience.

• Experience with CAPP, SAP.

• 2 years of planning experience.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
