Robert Half Customer Service Rep II in Houston, Texas

Description We are offering a role for a Logistics Clerk in the telecom industry, based in Hanover, Maryland, United States. This role primarily involves handling customer requests, inquiries, and complaints, providing guidance to team members, and managing revenue risks.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and resolve non-routine customer requests and complaints regarding billing policies and procedures

• Provide guidance and direction to less experienced team members to ensure efficient workflow

• Answer inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner

• Record and process commitments on customer accounts as appropriate

• Work closely with Area Coordinators to resolve any agency or customer issues

• Report any fraudulent conditions to management promptly

• Initiate outbound calls to follow up with customers regarding pending enrollments for Residential and Small Commercial customers

• Identify and provide coaching opportunities for Care/Sales agents to ensure adherence to company-established rules

• Maintain accurate reports for other departments, focusing on agent performance

• Stay updated on compliance rules and company policies to reduce potential business risk

• Handle customer documentation, verify customer identity, and be alert to possible fraud

• Strive to meet attendance requirements and be prepared to participate in storm duty requirements when necessary

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in managing logistics procedures and policies

• Experience in customer service and sales

• Ability to handle documentation related tasks

• Experience in staff training and onboarding

• Ability to manage and execute tasks in compliance with company policy and risk management guidelines

• Proficiency in answering inbound and making outbound calls

• Experience in workstation support and process improvement

• Familiarity with billing procedures and revenue accounting

• Ability to effectively manage relationships with suppliers

• Experience in handling complaints and implementing solutions

• Knowledge of public relations and staffing procedures

• Ability to execute tasks efficiently and maintain regular attendance

• Understanding of residential and commission functions

• Proficiency in onsite procedures and tasks.
