Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a part-time Bookkeeper in Neenah, Wisconsin. This role involves managing financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. Working closely with our accounting team to create financial reports and ensure compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all general accounting tasks such as reconciliations, depreciation, and expense analysis.

• Utilize QuickBooks for the generation of meaningful financial reports.

• Process accounts payable and receivable, efficiently managing invoices and tax payments.

• Handle payroll activities ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.

• Carry out bank reconciliations promptly and accurately.

• Manage sales tax and payroll taxes to ensure compliance with legal standards.

• Keep a tight record of all financial transactions using appropriate accounting methodologies.

• Regularly update cash reconciliations promptly and accurately.

• Collaborate with team members to manage the financial aspects of our organization effectively.

• Execute additional tasks as required by the organization, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.

Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in handling Payroll operations

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks

• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Ability to handle Cash Reconciliations

• Knowledge and experience in managing Sales Tax

• Experience in dealing with Payroll Taxes

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong numerical and analytical skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Relevant certification or degree in accounting or finance would be advantageous.
