Job Description

The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the dermatologists and Mohs surgeon in a busy cosmetic dermatology practice. This position involves assisting with medical dermatology, cosmetic, and surgical appointments. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a dermatology practice and be familiar with electronic medical records. An outgoing personality and the ability to work well within a team are essential.

Responsibilities:

Rooming Patients: Escort patients to examination rooms, take vital signs, and update all components of the patients medical history.

Assisting Providers: Support dermatologists and Mohs surgeons during medical, surgical, and cosmetic procedures.

Scribing: Document patient encounters, answer patient questions with guidance from providers, and follow up on clinical inquiries.

Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties, including scheduling appointments, managing patient inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.
