Perform duties associated with Magnetic Resonance Imaging in a scientific and diagnostic worksetting. This position will provide coverage as a MRI technologist that will involve both research and clinical exams. The MRI technologist will scan patients according to specific protocols and parameters, follow department policies, confidently perform IV catheter insertion, adhere to strict MRI safety guidelines and rules, and practice exceptional patient care. The MRI technologist will operate patient monitoring equipment. The MRI technologist will support research by collaborating with a variety of investigators and clinical trials and be knowledgeable in good clinical practice standards. The MRI technologist will work with large data sets and image uploads. The work hours will vary and can include evening and weekend shifts. No on-call is required.
